Key Points

  • Everything Electric returns to Sydney Showground from 18 to 20 September 2026, with more than 100 electric vehicle models on show.
  • The event will host the Southern Hemisphere's biggest EV test drive experience, with 7,500 test drives available across the three days.

Everything Electric is returning to Sydney Showground from 18 to 20 September 2026, in what organisers are calling the biggest edition of the show to date. The event lands as Australians buy electric vehicles at a record rate and look for ways to cut rising transport and energy bills.

More than 40,000 visitors are expected across the three days. Tickets are on sale now, and Zecar readers can get 25% off with promo code ZECAR25 at the ticket registration page.

What's on at Everything Electric Sydney

The show was created by the team behind the UK's Fully Charged YouTube show and is powered by headline sponsor carsales. It will feature more than 100 electric vehicle models, including cars, trucks, vans, motorcycles, e-bikes, commercial vehicles and boats, alongside the wider technology that helps households generate, store and use energy.

Exhibiting brands include BYD, Cadillac, Chery, Farizon, Forthing, Genesis, Geely, GAC, GWM, Hyundai, Icaur, IM, Lepas, MG, Omoda Jaecoo, Polestar, Subaru, Weichai and Zeekr. Organisers say a number of new models will be unveiled at the show, though exact reveals have not been confirmed.

"Australia's transition to electric is accelerating rapidly. EV sales have already surpassed 2025 figures and more than half a million home batteries have been installed in the past year," said Dan Caesar, Global CEO of Everything Electric, who will attend the 2026 Sydney event. "Australians are increasingly recognising that electrification isn't just about sustainability, it can deliver significant savings on household energy and transport costs."
Rafael Constantinou, EGM of Marketing, Content and Customer at carsales, said the company was proud to return as headline sponsor. "With more EV models entering the market than ever before, consumers are looking for trusted information and opportunities to compare their options with confidence. Everything Electric brings together leading brands, experts and real-world experiences in one place," he said.

Record EV sales set the backdrop

The show comes as Australia's EV market reaches record levels. According to the organisers, 127,244 battery electric vehicles had been sold by the end of July 2026, equal to 17.3% of the total new car market. That already exceeds the 103,269 battery electric vehicles sold across the whole of 2025. Year to date sales bring Australia's national EV fleet to approximately 650,000 vehicles, organisers say.

About Everything Electric

Everything Electric is a global series of live events covering electric vehicles, clean energy and the technology behind a lower-emissions future. It launched in the UK in 2018 as Fully Charged LIVE and was rebranded Everything Electric in 2024. Shows now run in the UK, Australia and Canada. Everything Electric is part of Fully Charged, the clean energy and EV media platform founded by actor and presenter Robert Llewellyn.

Following the 2025 Sydney and Melbourne events, which drew more than 50,000 visitors combined, organisers expect the 2026 Sydney show to be the biggest Everything Electric event yet.
