Chery Group will bring vehicles from five brands together for the first time in Australia at Everything Electric Australia, held at ICC Sydney on 18 September 2026. The display combines the Chery, Omoda, Jaecoo, Lepas and iCAUR brands, giving visitors a look at the group's expanding electrified vehicle range across battery electric, hybrid and range-extender technologies.
Several of the models on display will make their first Australian public appearance, including two vehicles from the brand-new Lepas and iCAUR marques. Chery Group says the line-up reflects its strategy of offering electrified vehicles across different segments, price points and technologies, rather than a single approach to electrification.
Five Brands Under One Stand
The press release describes the display as bringing together "the Chery, Omoda Jaecoo, Lepas and iCAUR brands", spanning vehicles from five brands in total. Omoda and Jaecoo operate as related but separate brand identities under the Omoda Jaecoo banner in Australia, which accounts for the difference between the four brand names listed and the five brands referenced.
"Everything Electric provides an ideal platform for us to demonstrate the breadth of Chery Group's electrification strategy in Australia. Visitors will be able to see our exciting models from across our brands, including several vehicles making their debut for Australian consumers," said Lewis Lu, Chief Executive Officer of Chery Group Australia.
"Our approach is not simply about bringing more electric vehicles to market. It is about offering customers greater choice across different segments, price points, technologies and lifestyles, while continuing to build confidence in electrified mobility."

Chery Stockman
The Stockman is Chery's first ute for Australia and uses a Diesel Super Hybrid plug-in hybrid drivetrain, a powertrain not currently offered by any other manufacturer in the local new-car market. Chery has confirmed a combined 350kW of power, 800Nm of torque and up to 100km of electric-only range on the NEDC test cycle, along with 3500kg of braked towing capacity. Full pricing has not been announced. The diesel model is due in Australian showrooms in the fourth quarter of 2026, with a petrol-powered plug-in hybrid variant to follow in 2027.
The Stockman sits in the dual-cab ute segment, Australia's largest new-vehicle category by sales.
Chery has positioned the diesel Stockman against other plug-in hybrid utes, including the BYD Shark 6 and JAC Hunter PHEV, and against the segment-leading Ford Ranger and Toyota HiLux on size and capability.

Chery E5
The E5 is Chery's electric SUV and has recently been simplified to a single Ultimate variant priced from $37,990 driveaway in Australia, a $3,000 reduction on the previous line-up. It uses a 58.9kWh lithium iron phosphate battery for a WLTP range of 430km, with a 155kW/288Nm electric motor and DC fast charging of up to 130kW. Chery Group's Everything Electric display will show the updated version of the E5 alongside the Stockman.
The E5 competes in the small electric SUV segment.
Key competitors include the BYD Atto 3, MG S5 EV and GWM Ora, with the E5's current driveaway price undercutting most of them.
iCAUR V25
The V25 is the first model from iCAUR, a Chery Group sub-brand founded in 2023, to be introduced in Australia. It is a rugged, off-road-styled electric SUV roughly the size of a Toyota RAV4, with boxy styling that has drawn comparisons to the Mercedes-Benz G-Class. In China, the V25 is sold as an extended-range electric vehicle (EREV), pairing a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol range extender with a 33.68kWh battery, and Chery quotes towing capacity of up to 1800kg with approach and departure angles of 28 and 24 degrees respectively. iCAUR Australia has not confirmed local specifications, final powertrain configuration or pricing. The brand says the V25 is due in Australian showrooms in early 2027, and this appearance at Everything Electric Sydney will be its first Australian public showing.
The V25 sits in the off-road-styled electric SUV segment, positioned between compact and mid-size 4x4-style SUVs.
As an electrified alternative to combustion-powered off-roaders, the V25's size and styling put it closest to vehicles such as the GWM Tank 300 and Suzuki Jimny 5-Door, though it is not yet clear whether Chery will position it directly against them on price.
Lepas L6 BEV and L4 BEV
Lepas is a new Chery Group brand for Australia, and the L6 BEV and L4 BEV will be its first models shown locally.
Lepas L6 BEV
The L6 BEV is a mid-size electric SUV, smaller than a Tesla Model Y but larger than a BYD Atto 3. Chery has confirmed a 160kW/275Nm front-wheel drive motor and an expected 67.1kWh lithium iron phosphate battery, with an estimated driving range of 450km. The L6 BEV is confirmed for Australian showrooms in the fourth quarter of 2026, though pricing has not been announced.
It competes in the mid-size electric SUV segment.
Lepas is positioning the L6 BEV against the Geely EX5, BYD Atto 3 and GAC Aion V.
Lepas L4 BEV
The L4 BEV is a smaller sibling to the L6, positioned as a small electric SUV. Chery has not announced Australian specifications or pricing for the L4. The L6 is set to be revealed locally first, with the L4 to follow; a test vehicle has already been spotted testing on Australian roads ahead of a local launch.
It competes in the small electric SUV segment.
On size, the L4 BEV is expected to compete with small electric SUVs such as the BYD Atto 2 and GWM Ora.
Omoda 4 and Omoda 7
Omoda Jaecoo will also show the new Omoda 4 and Omoda 7 at the event, with both models making their Australian public debut. Chery Group describes the Omoda 4 as the latest addition to Omoda's SUV range, and the Omoda 7 as a new-generation SUV showcasing the brand's technology and electrification capability. Neither model's local specifications, pricing nor on-sale timing has been announced.

Everything Electric Australia runs at ICC Sydney, with a media day starting at 8am on 18 September 2026. Chery Group says further information on individual model specifications, Australian pricing and on-sale timing will be announced closer to each model's market launch.
