BYD is running cashback offers of up to $2,500 across most of its Australian range this month, covering the Sealion family, the Shark 6 ute and the Atto 3.
The offers apply to orders placed between 1 July and 31 July 2026, with vehicles required to be delivered by 30 August 2026. The cashback comes on top of the drive away price and is separate from any dealer discounting.
Which Models Qualify
Two separate cashback amounts are on offer, split by model. Most of the range qualifies for the higher $2,500 payment, while the MY25 Atto 3 sits in its own $2,000 tier.

Order Window and Delivery Deadline
Buyers need to place their order between 1 July and 31 July 2026 and take delivery by 30 August 2026 to receive the cashback. BYD says orders taken within the campaign period that cannot be delivered by the cut off date will be reviewed individually, and an extension may be approved on a case by case basis.
Who Is Not Eligible
The cashback does not apply to fleet customers, demonstrator or service loan vehicles, or any transaction that already includes another promotional offer or discount. Both the $2,500 and $2,000 offers carry the same exclusions.
The current Atto 3 is due to be replaced later this year by the Atto 3 Evo, a heavily updated version with a larger 74.8kWh battery, a switch to rear-wheel drive, a new all-wheel-drive option and up to 510km of WLTP range. BYD Australia has confirmed the Atto 3 Evo for the second half of 2026 but has not released local pricing. This cashback offer applies to the current MY25 Atto 3 only.
Context
The offers land during BYD's strongest sales run in Australia to date, after the brand delivered a record 18,881 vehicles in June, its best month on record and enough to rank second nationally for a third straight month. Cashback and run out offers on current model year stock are common as brands work through orders ahead of updated model year vehicles arriving.
