Key Points
- The 2026 Zeekr X starts from under $50,000 drive-away for RWD and under $60,000 for AWD.
- Both variants get a new 250kW rear motor, up from 200kW, and more standard features.
- The RWD switches to a 61kWh LFP battery with faster 230kW DC charging but slightly less range.
Zeekr has updated the X small electric SUV for 2026 with lower prices, a more powerful motor, and a longer standard feature list. The RWD starts from under $50,000 drive-away and the AWD from under $60,000 drive-away. Exact prices will be announced at the Melbourne motor show on 10 April 2026.
The price cuts range from around $4,500 to over $10,000 depending on the variant and state. Despite the lower prices, both models gain features that were previously optional or exclusive to higher grades.
What Has Changed for 2026
The most significant mechanical change is a new 250kW/373Nm rear electric motor across both variants, up from 200kW/343Nm. The RWD now does 0 to 100km/h in 5.6 seconds. The AWD, which pairs the new rear motor with a front unit, produces 365kW/573Nm combined and hits 100km/h in 3.7 seconds, 0.1 seconds quicker than before.
The RWD gets a new 61kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery. Range drops slightly to 405km WLTP from around 440km, but DC charging speed jumps to 230kW, allowing a 10 to 80 per cent charge in 18 minutes. AC charging also improves to 11kW, up from 7.2kW.
The AWD keeps its 66kWh nickel-manganese-cobalt (NMC) battery with a 415km WLTP range. DC charging stays at 150kW for a 10 to 80 per cent charge in 30 minutes. AC charging doubles to 22kW, up from 11kW.
Interior and Exterior Updates
Inside, the centre console has been redesigned with an enclosed storage area. The wireless phone charger is now a 50-watt pad with ventilation, repositioned for easier access. Seats and door panels get quilted trim, and the steering wheel gains touch-sensitive shortcuts for door locks, parking cameras, defrosters, and the power tailgate.
Boot space grows from 342 litres to 404 litres, thanks to more under-floor storage.
On the outside, the AWD gains two new colours: Onyx Black and matte Khaki Green. Power-operated front doors are available as an option on the AWD. A black pack option adds 20-inch black wheels, black upholstery, and red contrast stitching.

More Features Now Standard
The RWD gains several features that were previously part of a $4,000 optional Convenience Package. These are now included as standard: heated and ventilated front seats, heated outboard rear seats, a heated steering wheel, a six-way power passenger seat with memory, and a 13-speaker Yamaha audio system.
The AWD, now called the Performance AWD, adds massaging front seats and a centre console fridge on top of its existing extras such as four-way lumbar adjustment and an augmented-reality head-up display.
