- GT model features Electronic Controlled Suspension tuned for Australian roads
Kia Australia has announced pricing for the MY26 EV9 range. The lineup now includes four trim levels: Air, Earth, GT-Line, and GT. The new GT variant is the most powerful and fastest EV9 yet - and the fastest 7-seat car available in Australia.

Kia EV9 GT Performance and Features
The EV9 GT uses a dual electric motor AWD system. It produces 374kW of power and 740Nm of torque. The GT can accelerate from 0-100km/h in 4.5 seconds. Range is rated at 510km on the WLTP cycle.
The EV9‘s sprint time makes it the fastest 7-seat car available on the market, beating the previous fastest, the Volvo EX90 Ultra Twin Motor Performance, which can cover the 0-100km/h mark in 4.9 seconds. The Tesla Model X Long Range previously held the title of the fastest 7-seater (3.9 seconds), although Tesla stopped selling it in 2023.
The GT features Electronic Controlled Suspension. Kia has tuned the ride and handling specifically for Australian road conditions.

Design Updates
The GT variant includes unique exterior and interior features. It has gloss black 21-inch alloy wheels. The digital LED grille features Kia's Star Map lighting, which is exclusive to the GT model.
Inside, the GT comes with second row relaxation seats as standard. More detailed specifications will be released soon.
