Zeekr has locked in key dates for the arrival of its latest electric SUV in Australia. The mid-size 7X will be available for public test drives from 6 October, with the first customer deliveries scheduled just over a week later on 15 October.

Entering a Crowded Market
The Zeekr 7X makes its Australian debut in one of the most competitive EV segments. Starting at $57,900 before on-road costs, it positions itself directly against popular rivals such as the Tesla Model Y, Hyundai Ioniq 5, Volkswagen ID.4, and Toyota bZ4X.
Three powertrain options will be offered:
- Standard RWD
- Long Range RWD – up to 615 km claimed range (WLTP)
- Performance AWD – producing up to 475 kW
All variants feature an 800V electrical system, ultra-fast charging capability up to 450 kW, and vehicle-to-load (V2L) functionality for external power supply.

Cabin and Dimensions
Inside, the 7X blends premium technology with practicality. Standard features include a 16-inch touchscreen, 13-inch digital driver display, and a panoramic glass roof. Safety comes built-in, with equipment such as autonomous emergency braking and blind-spot monitoring across the range.
Measuring 4,787 mm in length with a 2,900 mm wheelbase, the SUV fits neatly within the medium segment. Luggage space is equally competitive, offering 539 litres with the rear seats upright.
