Premium electric car brand Zeekr has made a strong debut with its upcoming 7X SUV, securing more than 1,000 pre-orders in just the first week after pricing was announced.
Zeekr International’s Managing Director for Australia, Frank Li, said the rapid response shows a clear appetite for premium electric SUVs in the local market.
“The strong interest in the 7X’s technology and comfort features reaffirms our confidence in Australia’s readiness for high-end electric vehicles,” Li said.

Australia’s Fastest-Charging EV at Launch
Unveiled in Sydney last week, the Zeekr 7X will set a new benchmark for charging speed in Australia. The SUV supports 450 kW ultra-fast charging, enabling a 10–80% top-up in just 13 minutes when connected to a compatible charger.

Local Pricing and Variants
Zeekr will offer three 7X variants in Australia, all priced before on-road costs:

All versions feature 800V architecture and V2L (vehicle-to-load) capability with 3.3 kW output, allowing the vehicle to power electrical devices while stationary.

Launch Offers and Extensions
At launch, Zeekr offered the first 1,000 customers a package including:
- Seven-year vehicle warranty
- Seven-year roadside assistance
- 7 kW home charger
- Portable home charger
- Type 2 charging cable
- Complimentary exterior and interior colour choices
Due to high demand, this package is available until 17 August.
From 18 August to 30 September, new buyers will still receive a Type 2 cable, portable home charger, and complimentary colour options.
