The Jeep Avenger elecric SUV has reduced its pre-launch price by $4,000, now starting from $49,990 plus on-road costs. The Australian EV market is seeing price reductions across the board including the Polestar 2, Tesla Model 3 and Y and several other brands.
Designed and built in Europe, the Avenger is designed for both off-road use and urban city driving. It comes in three trims:

The front-wheel-drive Jeep features Selec-Terrain and Hill Descent Control as standard, 200mm ground clearance, a 10.5m turning circle, and weighs 1520kg. It is based on the new e-CMP2 modular EV platform.
The Jeep Adenger provides up to 396km range (WLTP) in the Avenger Longitude and Limited variants, and produces 115kW power and 260Nm torque.
The Avenger is a compact SUV measuring 4,084 mm long, 1,797 mm wide and 1,534 mm high. Notwithstanding its compact dimensions, it can still comfortably fit five people.
The Jeep Avenger supports three different charging modes, equipped with a CCS Combo Type 2 socket enabling domestic/public AC and public DC fast charging, and comes with a Mode 3 charging cable as standard. The Avenger can recharge from 20% to 80% in around 24 minutes using 100kW DC charging.
A series of safety and ADAS features provide level-2 driving autonomy, including blind spot monitoring, autonomous emergency braking with vulnerable road users (pedestrian and cyclist) protection, automatic parking, and a 180-degree rear camera with drone view.
A 10.25-inch radio screen Uconnect Infotainment is combined with a full 10.25-inch digital cluster as standard.
The Jeep Avenger BEV is available in Ruby, Volcano, Stone, Lake, Sun, Granite, and Snow.
The Jeep Avenger has received several awards , including European Car of the Year 2023, World’s Best Family SUV in the Women’s World Car of the Year Awards, Electric Car of the Year in TopGear.com Electric Awards 2023, Best Small Car at Autocar Awards 2023, and Small BEV Autovista Group Residual Value Award 2023.
The Jeep Avenger will be available from September from the Jeep website.
