BYD has officially launched the Atto 2, a compact electric SUV designed for city driving. After making its debut at the 2025 Brussels Motor Show, this latest addition to BYD’s lineup is now available in Europe. It targets urban buyers looking for a practical and efficient EV. The BYD Atto 2 is slightly shorter than the Atto 3, at 4,310mm, and pricing is expected to be lower as well. It is similar in size to popular compact crossovers like the Mazda CX-30 and Toyota Corolla Cross.

Although BYD has not yet confirmed its Australian launch, the UK is set to receive the Atto 2 in Q3 2025, making it likely that Australia could follow towards the end of the year.
