Autel has installed around 10,000 AC charge points across Australian homes and businesses in under five years. Three chargers make up its current AC range: AC Lite, AC Single and AC Ultra. Each is built for a different job, from a single home garage to a two-bay commercial site.
This guide covers what each model does, who it suits, and future models Autel is bringing to Australia later this year.
All three current models are sold and supported through JetCharge, Autel's exclusive Australian distribution partner.

AC Lite is priced from about $799 to $880. Autel has not published Australian pricing for AC Single or AC Ultra. Both are sold on a commercial quote basis through JetCharge.
AC Lite: home charging
AC Lite is Autel's entry-level charger for Australian homes. It does one job: charging a car overnight in a garage.

OCPP is worth calling out. It is the open protocol used across commercial and network charging for remote monitoring, firmware updates and smart charging features like scheduling, and it is uncommon on chargers at this price point. Most budget home chargers run closed, proprietary systems that only do what they can do out of the box, with no path to broader integrations later. AC Lite's OCPP 1.6J currently connects to Autel's own cloud rather than third-party networks, but the charger is still built on an open, industry-standard protocol rather than one that is closed from the ground up.
AC Lite suits homeowners who want straightforward overnight charging without paying for features they will not use. 7.4kW is enough to fully charge most EVs overnight on a standard home supply.
AC Single: workplaces and small business
AC Single is built for sites between a single home charger and a large commercial installation: a small business car park, a workplace with a handful of EV drivers, or a body corporate with one or two bays.

With optional CT accessories, AC Single also integrates with home solar systems, prioritising EV charging from excess solar generation. The built-in 4G matters for sites without reliable WiFi, such as basement car parks in apartment buildings.
AC Single currently authenticates through RFID, not card payment. Autel has flagged a tap-to-pay upgrade for this model that would let operators take contactless card payments at the charger instead of requiring an app or RFID tag. No release date has been confirmed.
AC Ultra: two vehicles, one charger
AC Ultra is for sites with real traffic: retail car parks, fleet depots and workplaces charging more than one or two EVs a day.

Because AC Ultra charges two vehicles from one unit with shared power management, it is often a simpler install than two separate single-port chargers on the same circuit. The display can also carry advertising, which some commercial operators use to offset installation costs.

Autel previewed the AC Compact 2 at its Innovation Forum in Sydney in June. It is expected in Australia in October, pending RCM certification, at a price under $700, undercutting AC Lite.

If you are deciding on a home charger now, AC Compact 2 is worth knowing about before buying AC Lite. Release timing and pricing are not locked in yet.
Getting one installed
JetCharge sells and installs every current Autel AC charger in Australia. It also handles warranty support and, for eligible households, government rebate applications. Installation requires a licensed electrician for every model; none of these are designed for a standard power outlet.
