Xpeng Opens Stunning EV Showroom Inside Sydney Casino

Xpeng has taken another big step into the Australian market with the official opening of its first local showroom at Crown Sydney. The space, located on the ground floor of the luxury harbourside complex, gives visitors a closer look at the Chinese EV brand’s growing lineup.

This is the first time the Xpeng P7+, the brand’s premium electric sedan, has been shown outside of China and Europe. Also on display are the G6 mid-size SUV and the more affordable Mona M03, giving potential buyers a chance to explore the full range in person. The G6 has already been on sale in Australia for about a year, with TrueEV acting as the local distributor.

TrueEV CEO Jason Clarke described the new showroom as a major milestone. He said the opening marks both a celebration of Xpeng’s first year in Australia and a sign of the brand’s growing presence in the country. Clarke also emphasised TrueEV’s focus on offering smart, high-quality electric vehicles to both local and international customers.

To mark the launch, Crown Sydney has also introduced a new promotion called Xpeng Power Play. The giveaway is open to Crown Casino Platinum and Black Tier members, and offers the chance to win one of two Xpeng G6 SUVs, along with weekly cash prizes.

The new showroom helps position Xpeng among the growing list of Chinese EV makers expanding into Australia. As more affordable electric models continue to arrive, public interest in test driving and comparing EVs first-hand is expected to increase.
