Comments

BYD has officially revealed the updated Atto 3, showcasing a refreshed exterior and a big upgrade to driver assistance (ADAS) features. Known as the Yuan Plus in China, the facelifted electric SUV is set to launch in its home market soon before making its way to global markets.

Sharper Styling and Sportier Design

The Atto 3 introduces a sportier front bumper with larger air intakes, giving the SUV a more dynamic look. The headlights remain unchanged, featuring the signature "Dragon's Whiskers" chrome accent that connects them. A new roof spoiler with dual brake lights, aredesigned tailgate, and blackened D-pillars enhance the vehicle's modern appeal.

The rear bumper echoes the front’s sharper design. At the same time, the full-width taillights now integrate a wave-like pattern, a design cue seen on other BYD models like the Dolphin and the upcoming Atto 2.

Upgraded Driver Assistance and New Tech

A key addition to the facelifted Atto 3 is the recently launched God's Eye C (DiSus 100) driver assistance system, which enhances navigation and parking capabilities. The system features:

  • A three-camera block under the windshield
  • Four surround-view cameras
  • Five long-range cameras
  • Five millimetre-wave radars
  • Twelve ultrasonic radars
  • A total of 29 sensors

These upgrades enable the SUV to handle ten high-speed navigation scenarios and support six intelligent parking modes, making driving more intuitive and safer.
