Key Points
- XPENG ANZ has appointed factory-authorised dealers across QLD, NSW, VIC, SA, and WA, two months after launching direct factory operations in Australia.
- A genuine parts warehouse is operational in Melbourne through a partnership with FedEx, with next-day delivery to Sydney, Adelaide, and Melbourne.
- A dedicated customer care channel is now live, with a separate review process for customers with outstanding promotion-related matters.
XPENG ANZ has confirmed that the infrastructure commitments it made on 1 April 2026, when it launched direct factory operations in Australia, are now in place. Two months in, the company has an authorised dealer network across five states, a FedEx-partnered parts warehouse operational in Melbourne, and a dedicated customer care channel open for Australian owners.
The update covers the areas XPENG ANZ specifically flagged at launch: dealer coverage, genuine parts supply, aftersales service infrastructure, and owner support. For existing XPENG owners who have been waiting on parts or unresolved promotions since the TrueEV dispute began, this marks the first formal, direct channel to the factory-backed entity.
Authorised Dealer Network
XPENG ANZ has appointed factory-authorised dealerships across Australia's five major states. The Dealer Locator at xpeng.com/au/find-us is updated progressively as new locations are confirmed. State offices have been established in Melbourne, Brisbane, and Sydney as operational hubs for dealer support and field technical support.

Parts Warehouse and Service Infrastructure
XPENG ANZ's genuine parts warehouse is now operational from a Melbourne facility managed in partnership with FedEx. The warehouse handles national parts inventory, workshop support, customer support, and dealer technical assistance across all XPENG ANZ vehicles in Australia.

Technical support runs across three levels. Factory-trained specialist dealers are the first point of contact when a vehicle is on site. Remote diagnostics use vehicle computer data to identify and assess issues. Field technicians attend dealerships where specialist on-site support is required.

Customer Care Channel
A dedicated customer care channel is now operational. Owners and prospective buyers can contact the team via the Contact Us form at xpeng.com/au or by email at auscustomercare@xiaopeng.com.
XPENG ANZ has also set up a separate review process specifically for customers with outstanding promotion-related matters. This appears to be directed at owners who were left with unresolved cashback incentives or promotional commitments from the TrueEV era. XPENG ANZ has not publicly confirmed the nature or value of matters it will review.
Background: The TrueEV Dispute
TrueEV Distribution was XPENG's original distributor in Australia, launching the G6 mid-size SUV in late 2024 and claiming to have delivered around 2,000 vehicles. The company opened showrooms at Sydney Airport and Crown Sydney, and partnered with dealer groups including Autopact in Queensland.
In early 2026, TrueEV filed legal action against XPENG in the Federal Court of Australia. The specific grounds have not been made public. Weeks later, TrueEV appointed an external receiver to manage the sale of 197 older-model vehicles across multiple sites. The company denied it had entered full administration.
XPENG ANZ launched its direct operations on 1 April 2026, in parallel with TrueEV's legal proceedings. The next Federal Court hearing in the matter is scheduled for October 2026. In the meantime, some existing XPENG owners raised concerns about parts availability and cashback promotions that had not been honoured.
The new customer care channel and promotion review process are the first direct mechanisms XPENG ANZ has provided for owners affected during the TrueEV transition period.
What XPENG ANZ Said
A spokesperson for XPENG ANZ said the company is building for the long term in Australia and that the commitments made on 1 April are being met. The spokesperson described the dealer, parts, and customer care infrastructure as the foundation of XPENG ANZ's Australian operation.
