What is the Range of Toyota bZ4X?
Australian range figures have yet to be officially confirmed, however, they are expected to be broadly in line with figures for the European market. Under the WLTP driving cycle, the front-wheel drive bZ4X achieves a range of 516 km (143 Wh/km consumption) and the all-wheel drive bZ4X 470 km (158 Wh/km consumption).
Is the Toyota bZ4X Fully Electric?
Yes, the Toyota bZ4X is a fully electric SUV built on electric Toyota New Global Architecture (e-TNGA) was introduced in 2020 and is the base for the RAV4-sized Toyota bZ4X, shared with the Subaru Soltera, and upmarket Lexus RZ medium electric SUVs.
While modelled on the internal combustion engine TNGA architecture, this is a dedicated EV platform which is scalable in size, streamlines its product development, can house up to 100kWh battery sizes, and configurable in front-, rear-, and all-wheel drive powertrains. The three e-TNGA SUV models also boast a higher driver instrument display and a centre console storage under tray for the first time.
Toyota RAV4 EV
A current model Toyota RAV4 does not exist for sale. The original Toyota RAV4 EV, jointly developed with Tesla, was first released in 2012 as a limited-production electric SUV. However, it was discontinued in 2014 due to low sales.
