Swedish EV brand Polestar has unveiled the 2026 Polestar 2 for Australia, bringing improvements to range, charging speeds and in-car tech — all while keeping pricing unchanged from the outgoing model.
Improved Battery and Charging
The entry-level Standard Range Single Motor now comes with a new 70 kWh CATL battery pack, pushing range to 554 km (WLTP), a small increase from the previous 546 km.
More importantly, charging speeds have been upgraded. The 2026 Polestar 2 supports DC fast charging up to 180 kW (up from 135 kW), cutting 10–80% charging time to just 26 minutes.

Design and Interior Upgrades
The 2026 model year brings subtle styling tweaks, with a new exterior colour called Dune, replacing the previous Jupiter option. Privacy tinting is now applied to both rear side windows and the tailgate glass.
Inside, the Polestar 2 receives an upgrade to Qualcomm’s Snapdragon processor, enhancing responsiveness of the infotainment system and overall in-car experience.
