Hyundai Australia has announced the all-new ELEXIO electric SUV, set to arrive in the first quarter of 2026. The futuristic medium SUV will slot between the KONA Electric and IONIQ 5 in Hyundai's expanding electric line-up.

Launching as a single Elite trim at $59,990 drive-away, ELEXIO targets families looking for a practical electric SUV with smart features and efficient performance. The introductory drive-away pricing applies to both private and fleet buyers.

Performance and Range

ELEXIO features a 160kW front-wheel-drive motor producing 310Nm of torque. The 88kWh LFP battery delivers 546km of range on the WLTP cycle, making it suitable for daily commutes and longer trips.

Built on Hyundai's 400V E-GMP platform, ELEXIO can charge from 10 to 80 percent in 38 minutes using a 350kW DC fast charger. The LFP battery chemistry offers improved longevity and thermal stability.

Exterior Design

The ELEXIO showcases a smooth, dynamic silhouette with a layered horizontal design at both front and rear. This creates a broad, robust SUV appearance that stands out in the medium SUV segment.

Interior and Technology

ELEXIO becomes the first Hyundai in Australia to feature the Connect-C infotainment system. Based on Android Automotive OS, it includes a 27-inch ultra-thin 4K panoramic display for intuitive control.

A Head-Up Display comes standard, projecting navigation, multimedia, and vehicle information in the driver's line of sight. Over-the-air software updates, Bluelink Connected Car Services, and Digital Key 2.0 smartphone entry complete the tech package.
