Geely’s upcoming EX5 electric SUV is set to shake up Australia’s EV market with aggressive pricing that undercuts key rivals. Ahead of its official launch on March 11, leaked pricing from RedBook reveals the EX5 will start at $43,490 for the Complete trim and $47,490 for the Inspire trim before on-road costs.

This positions the EX5 well below competitors in the mid-size SUV segment like the Tesla Model Y, Kia EV5, and BYD Sealion 7, making it one of its segment's most affordable electric SUVs. The BYD Sealion 7 Premium starts at $54,990, the Kia EV5 Air at $56,770, and the Tesla Model Y Juniper RWD at $63,400.
