The cost of EV charging at a Shell Recharge location using the OTR EV app is 70c/kWh, with an idle fee of $1/min after 10min grace period and an optional $4 reservation fee.

A $25 preauthorisation charge is applied for all sessions, with unused funds released based on the cost of the charging session and whether it is above or below $25 in total.

Viva Energy will install the blueberry chargers at 30 Shell Reddy Express and Shell OTR sites in NSW thanks to co-funding from the NSW government Dec 2023 Round 2 EV Fast Charging grants.
