2026 Deepal E07 Price and Specs: Multitruck is Australia's First Transformer Electric Vehicle
Chinese electric vehicle brand Deepal has launched its E07 Multitruck in Australia, introducing a new vehicle category that combines SUV refinement with ute utility. The transformable electric vehicle starts from A$64,900 and features an innovative rear section that converts between passenger and cargo configurations with a single touch.
Zecar contributor Neerav Bhatt attended the Australian media launch and test drive day for the new Deepal E07 Multitruck and was impressed with its versatility.
The vehicle represents Deepal's second model in its Australian growth strategy, following on from the S07 mid size SUV.

Powertrain, Performance and Range
The E07 is available in two powertrain options: a 252 kW single-motor rear-wheel drive variant and a 440 kW dual-motor all-wheel drive version.
The RWD model accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 6.7 seconds, while the AWD Performance variant achieves the sprint in 3.96 seconds with 645 Nm of torque.
Range figures stand at up to 550 kilometres WLTP for the RWD model and 510 kilometres for the AWD variant, both featuring an 89.98 kWh ternary lithium battery.
DC rapid charging at up to 240 kW enables a 30-80 per cent charge in just 15 minutes, while AC charging maxes out at 7 kW.

- Dimensions and capacity: The E07 measures 5,045mm long, 1,996mm wide and 1,680mm tall with a 3,120mm wheelbase and seats five occupants.
- Storage versatility: Boot capacity ranges from 524 litres standard to 1,654 litres with rear seats folded, plus a 131-litre frunk for additional storage.
- Towing capability: Both variants offer 1,500kg braked towing capacity and 750kg unbraked capacity.
- Adjustable suspension: Air suspension with three height settings provides ground clearance from 133mm to 223mm.
Design and Aerodynamics
The vehicle's exterior design features a coupe-style roofline, aerodynamic active grille and LED lighting that extends across the front fascia.
Standard 21-inch alloy wheels are wrapped in 265/45R21 tyres, with the vehicle offering multiple drive modes including Eco, Comfort, Sport and Custom settings.
Interior Technology and Comfort
Zero-gravity seating with massage functions The E07's cabin features eight-way powered front seats with heating, ventilation and massage functions, plus advanced noise reduction engineering.
Advanced infotainment A 15.4-inch touchscreen with Qualcomm 8155 chip supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, paired with an 18-speaker sound system.
Ambient lighting system Customisable 256-colour ambient lighting creates a personalised environment throughout the cabin.
Vehicle-to-Load capability 6.6 kW V2L power supply at 220V allows the vehicle to power appliances and accessories for camping or work sites.
Driver Assist Safety Features
Safety technology includes a comprehensive suite of driver assistance features such as autonomous emergency braking with pedestrian and cyclist alert, lane keep assist, blind spot detection and a 360-degree camera system.
The Intelligent Drive Assist package includes integrated adaptive cruise control, traffic jam assist and lane centre control.

Ownership Costs and Warranty
Deepal has announced capped price servicing for the E07 over seven years or 140,000 kilometres. The RWD variant's total servicing cost is A$2,954.59, while the AWD Performance model costs A$3,143.90 over the same period.
Service intervals are set at 20,000km or 12 months for the first service, then every 20,000km or 12 months thereafter. Individual service costs range from A$161.33 to A$986.65 for the AWD Performance variant.
The E07 comes with a seven-year/160,000km vehicle warranty and an eight-year/240,000km battery warranty. Purchasers also receive 12 months of complimentary Deepal roadside assistance when they opt in at delivery.

Colour Options and Availability
Colour options include Quartz White, Obsidian Black and Jade Green across both variants. The AWD Performance model adds exclusive Hematite Matte Grey and Spessartite Orange options, while the RWD gets standard Hematite Grey.
First vehicles have now arrived in Australia with test drives and orders available through Deepal retailers.
The transformable rear storage system allows the vehicle to carry professional tools, recreational equipment or serve as a mobile campsite hub.
