The 2025 Geely’s EX5 electric SUV launched in Sydney, Australia tonight with a jaw dropping price, starting from $40,990 before on-road costs for the Complete trim and $44,990 for the Inspire trim before on-road costs.

This positions the EX5 up to $20,000 below competitors in the mid-size SUV segment like the Tesla Model Y, Kia EV5, and BYD Sealion 7, making it one of its segment's most affordable electric SUVs. The BYD Sealion 7 Premium starts at $54,990, the Kia EV5 Air at $56,770, and the Tesla Model Y RWD Launch Edition at $63,400.

Geely EX5 Key Specs

The EX5, which has been well reviewed overseas, stands out with a premium cabin, a range of advanced features, and a segment leading price. It also promises a strong driving range and reasonable fast-charging capabilities, positioning itself as a solid alternative to pricier rivals.
