These recent documents reveal that Tesla plans to reintroduce the Performance variant not just with a simple refresh, but with significant performance upgrades that will further consolidate its position as one of the best value performance EVs available.

Recent sightings of updated 2024 Tesla Model 3 Performance in Valencia, Spain, revealed likely updates to the Model 3 Performance's aesthetics. These updates, which differentiate the Performance variant from the rest of the range, include: new bumpers, larger wheels and 'Ludicrous' badging.

In addition to visual changes, the upcoming refresh for the Tesla Model 3 Performance introduces a significant upgrade in the form of a new rear motor, labelled the 4D2. This enhanced motor promises an increased output, achieving up to 303kW, (406 hp), which denotes a noteworthy jump from the legacy version's 250kW (335hp).
