Zecar's Take on the MINI Countryman
Subaru has come late to the party with the Subaru Solterra. While the starting price is $77,990 before on-road costs is lower than that of electric AWD SUV alternatives, its falls short on key specifications such as driving range, charging speed and overall passenger and storage space.
Potential customers of the Solterra will likely be loyal Subaru customers or those seeking more serious off-road capability from their electric SUV. The average SUV customer however who likely will never take their SUV off-road and will likely get better value from other options.
