There’s a new light all-electric commercial van option in Australia, with the Peugeot e-Partner arriving in mid-2023.

Priced from $59,990 before on-road costs, the e-Partner EV provides up to 245km of claimed WLTP driving range and is sold exclusively as a two-seat long wheelbase Pro variant, with a 3.9 cubic-metre cargo volume, 834kg payload capacity, and 750kg unbraked towing capability.

The e-Partner is eligible for select Australian electric car incentives, including the fringe benefits tax (FBT) exemption for company fleets and novated leases.

The Peugeot electric commercial van is capable of recharging at up to 11kW AC and 100kW DC speeds via the standard Type 2/CCS2 plug located at the vehicle’s rear-left quarter side.

The French automaker claims an 11kW three-phase wall box can charge the light commercial van from empty to full in around 7.5 hours, while a 100kW DC or higher public charger will replenish it from empty to 80 per cent in 30 minutes.

The city-focused Peugeot e-Partner directly rivals the forthcoming new-generation Renault Kangoo E-Tech electric van.
