The Genesis Electrified GV70 is an all-electric luxury medium SUV with a single powerful ‘Performance AWD’ with Luxury package variant offered in Australia

Priced from $127,800 before on-road costs, the electric GV70 provides up to 445km of claimed WLTP range with twin electric motors able to move the 2.3-tonne SUV from 0-100km/h in 4.2 seconds in boost mode, a 14.5-inch ultrawide infotainment display, and a 14-speaker 1050-watt Lexicon sound system.

The Electrified GV70 is eligible for select Australian electric car incentives, excluding the fringe benefits tax (FBT) exemption for fleets and novated leases as the luxury car tax (LCT) applies.

The South Korean made premium SUV boasts up to 10.5kW AC and 350kW DC charging capabilities based on a more advanced 800-volt architecture. Genesis says it can recharge from 10 to 80 per cent in 18 minutes when on a 350kW ultra rapid public charging station. It also supports interior and exterior vehicle-to-load (V2L).

Exclusive to this all-electric GV70 are unique 20-inch alloy wheels; a closed-off G-matrix crest grille with a hidden charging port; different front- and rear bumpers; unique ‘Mountain type’ graphic for the backlit door trim; active noise cancellation; sensor-based rear occupant warning; and the option of the Atacama Copper exterior colour in either gloss or matte.

As per all Genesis EVs, new owners can choose between a free five-year Chargefox charging subscription or 7.2kW AC single-phase Wallbox Pulsar Plus home charger (including standard installation fees).

The Genesis Electrified GV70 directly competes against fierce European rivals, including the BMW iX3, Mercedes-Benz EQC, and Jaguar I-Pace.

Electrified GV70 Warranty and Servicing

All Genesis electric vehicles are backed by a five-year, unlimited kilometre vehicle warranty, eight-year battery warranty, 10-year roadside assistance, and 10-years of built-in map updates.

The South Korean luxury carmaker also bundles five-years of free scheduled servicing with a five-year 'Genesis To You’ valet service, where its dealers can pick up and drop off your vehicle at any location, plus offer a free courtesy vehicle during each service visit.

Servicing Genesis’ is done via the nationwide Hyundai dealership network.
