Zeekr, a new entrant to the Australian EV market, has announced plans to launch its Zeekr X small electric SUV in late 2024. Positioned as a competitor to the Volvo EX30 the Zeekr X will be priced more competitively.

While exact pricing has not been finalised, Zeekr confirmed that the base rear-wheel drive variant will be priced under $60,000 before on-road costs, and the top-spec all-wheel drive variant under $70,000. These figures suggest a lower starting price point than the Volvo EX30, which starts at $59,990 and $71,290 for the rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive variants respectively.
