MG Motor Australia has announced the sharp pricing for its MG4 electric hatchback will continue during December 2024. For the last few months the MG4 has been the most affordable new electric vehicle option for Australian consumers.
MG Motor Australia’s CCO Giles Belcher said:
“MG saw an incredible response to the pricing offers on the MG4 in October. Our dealerships across the country were able to help Australians switch to EV driving with the MG4. These price offers finish at the end of the year and will never be repeated.”
The MG4 Excite 51 is priced at $32,990 drive-away, while the MG4 Excite 64 with extended range is available at $34,990 drive-away. These prices are valid until December 31, 2024.
Additionally, significant discounts of $8,000 are available on higher-end Essence 77 Long Range and XPOWER variants.
Key specifications include driving ranges between 350-530 kilometers, dynamic rear wheel drive handling, a 10-year warranty and 5-star ANCAP safety rating.
MG is also offering a capped-price service program, with maintenance costs locked in for the first seven years through authorized dealers.
The compact electric SUV ZS EV is simultaneously receiving price adjustments, with the Essence model priced at $36,990 and the Long Range variant at $42,990. It is expected that the MG ZS EV will be replaced by a much more modern MG EV SUV by mid 2025.
