MG Motors Australia has launched the longest vehicle warranty in Australia, which also covers its EV models such as the MG4, MG ZS EV and MG HS EV Plus. From 1 August, all new MG models purchased in Australia will be covered by a 10-year warranty which MG claim is the most comprehensive factory warranty currently available in the automotive industry. MG Thailand recently launched a lifetime warranty for its EV batteries.
While MG has upgraded the duration of its EV battery warranty from 7-years to 10-years, the distance warranted has been reduced from 'unlimited mileage' to 250,000 kms. This should more than suffice for the average driver in Australia who would cover 130,000 over a ten year period.
