LDV is bringing its fourth electric vehicle to the Australian market, the LDV eDeliver 7, a mid-sized electric delivery van. It will join LDV's electric vehicle line up, which includes the eDeliver 9, Australia's first electric ute (eT60), and the MIFA 9 electric people mover.

Prices for the 2024 LDV eDeliver 9 will start from $59,990 to $66,990 before on-road costs - LDV's most affordable electric offering to date.

The eDeliver 7 will compete with other mid-sized electric vans including the Renault Kangoo E-tech, Peugeot e-Partner and Ford E-Transit.

Design and Variants

The eDeliver 7 range includes four electric variants: a short wheelbase low roof; long wheelbase low roof model with either 77kWh or 88kWh batteries; and a long wheelbase high roof with an 88kWh battery. Available in white, blue, or black, these models challenge the conventional van design with a futuristic, streamlined look, featuring a distinctive front grille with dusk-sensing LEDs and a larger air intake for potential ICE variants.

Power and Efficiency

Equipped with robust powertrains developed in partnership between SAIC and CATL, China's largest battery maker, the eDeliver 7 offers impressive electric ranges. The 77kWh battery delivers up to 318km on the SWB low roof model, while the 88kWh battery extends this to 362km on the low roof model. Charging is efficient, with options for both AC home chargers and rapid DC public charging. The vehicle also features three power modes – Normal, Eco, and Power – catering to various driving needs.

Safety and Practicality

LDV ensures that the eDeliver 7 meets the comprehensive safety and practicality needs of fleet operators. The vehicle is equipped with advanced safety features like Autonomous Emergency Braking, Adaptive Cruise Control, Blind Spot Monitoring, and more. The interior mirrors the design cues of its larger sibling, the eDeliver 9, offering enhanced comfort features and practical improvements, especially in cargo handling and safety.

Warranty and Service

Every new LDV eDeliver 7 comes with a comprehensive 5yrs/160,000km (whichever comes first) new car warranty, 8-year/250,000km (whichever comes first) battery warranty and 5-year/unlimited kilometres Roadside Assistance.

LDV has also addressed the cost of ownership and scheduled servicing with the introduction of Capped Price Servicing~ on the eDeliver 7, following extensive consultation with a number of our largest courier and delivery fleet customers.

All-new eDeliver 7 customers can take advantage of the Capped Price Servicing~ programme which covers scheduled servicing for 6-years / 90,000km (whichever comes first) and costs just $1,166.10.
