Honda has released full UK specifications for its upcoming Super-N electric city car, providing the clearest indication yet of what Australian buyers can expect when the vehicle arrives in local showrooms later this year. The model will be sold in Australia as the Honda Super-One, while UK buyers will know it as the Super-N.
Although Honda Australia has yet to confirm local pricing and final specifications, the UK launch offers a strong preview of the compact EV that is set to join a segment that has been largely neglected in recent years.
At just 3.6 metres long, the Super-One is designed primarily for urban driving. However, Honda is hoping a combination of retro-inspired styling, practical packaging and modern technology will help it stand out in an increasingly competitive EV market.

Under the skin, the Super-One uses a 29.6kWh battery pack paired with a 47kW electric motor. Drivers can temporarily unlock additional performance through a Boost mode, which increases output to 70kW.
While outright performance isn't the focus, the extra power cuts the 0–100km/h sprint from 14.5 seconds to 10.0 seconds.
Honda claims a WLTP combined driving range of 206km. However, because the vehicle is aimed at city use, its urban-cycle range rating of up to 320km may be more relevant for many owners.
Fast charging capability reaches up to 50kW DC, allowing a 10-80 per cent recharge in around 30 minutes.
