A New Era for Geely in Australia

After more than a decade away from Australian shores, Geely is back, this time as a factory-backed operation rather than through an importer. Its return is marked by the launch of the EX5, a mid-sized electric SUV with sharp pricing and an attractive feature set. Customer deliveries have now begun, and the company has revealed plans to establish a dealership network exceeding 100 locations in the coming years.

Geely’s Growing Dealer Network

Geely has announced an initial 22 dealerships across Australia, covering every state and territory except the Northern Territory.   • Complete – $40,990 (before on-road costs)
  • Inspire – $44,990 (before on-road costs)

The SUV features a 60.22 kWh battery, delivering 430 km of WLTP range. It supports 100 kW DC fast charging, taking the battery from 30% to 80% in just 20 minutes. For home charging, it offers 11 kW AC charging and vehicle-to-load (V2L) capabilities with a discharge rate of up to 3.3 kW.
