Hi4 Intelligent AWD System

The updated H6GT PHEV uses GWM's Hi4 (Hybrid Intelligent 4WD) system. It combines a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine with dual electric motors, one on each axle. The system distributes torque between the front and rear wheels based on driving conditions.

Combined system output is 321kW and 642Nm. The 0-100 km/h time is 4.6 seconds, 0.3 seconds quicker than before. The petrol engine now produces 240Nm, up 10Nm. The front motor is rated at 80kW and the rear at 170kW. A four-speed hybrid transmission replaces the previous two-speed unit.

The 35.43kWh ternary lithium-ion battery is carried over. Electric-only range is 183km (NEDC), up from 180km. Combined driving range is 1,183km, up from around 1,000km. Combined fuel consumption is 0.6L/100km (NEDC).

Redesigned Interior and Coffee OS

The H6GT PHEV's interior has been updated to match the broader H6 range. The centre console is cleaner, with a column-mounted gear selector freeing up space for a wireless phone charger. The charger now outputs 50 watts, up from before.

The main screen is now 14.6 inches, up from 12.3 inches. It runs GWM's Coffee OS software, which integrates vehicle controls, entertainment and connectivity. The system supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster is retained.

Suede seats embossed with 'GT' branding carry over. Material quality has been improved across the cabin. Other additions include a rear subwoofer (bringing the total to nine speakers), rear USB-A and USB-C charging points, and a new key fob design.
