Mini is expanding its EV offerings in Australia with the introduction of the Aceman, a five-door electric crossover. The Aceman is Mini's third EV offering in Australia, joining the Cooper and Countryman. In terms of size, the Aceman sits between the Cooper and Countryman.
Priced from $55,990 (before on-road costs), the Aceman comes in two variants: the Aceman E and the sportier Aceman SE.

The Aceman offers a choice between a 42.6kWh battery with a 310km range and 135kW output (Aceman E) or a 54.2kWh battery providing 406km range and 160kW output (Aceman SE). Both options deliver brisk acceleration, achieving 0-100km/h in 7.9 seconds (Aceman E) and 7.1 seconds (Aceman SE).
Standard features are generous, including a safety suite with adaptive cruise control, parking assistant, and lane control. Creature comforts like heated front seats, panoramic sunroof, and a sound system are also included. The Aceman SE boasts a premium Harman Kardon sound system and John Cooper Works seats for an enhanced driving experience.
The Aceman E comes in Rebel Red or Melting Silver III with a black/blue interior. The Aceman SE offers an additional stylish Indigo Sunset Blue option featuring a unique Dark Petrol interior with silver accents.
Both the Aceman E and SE will be available for purchase in the fourth quarter of 2024. This electric crossover signifies a major step for Mini in Australia, providing a blend of practicality, performance, and the brand's signature go-kart-like driving experience.
