2023 LDV Mifa 9 price and specs: The electric Alphard luxury people mover

LDV has launched the Mifa 9, its first passenger vehicle model in Australia and electric seven-seater people mover based on the petrol-powered Mifa.

The LDV Mifa 9 comes in three variants, starting from $106,000 before on-road costs for the entry-level Mode, $117,000 for the Executive, and $131,000 for the flagship Luxe.

It offers up to 430km to 440km of claimed range (WLTP) depending on the variant from a combined energy consumption figure of between 213Wh/km to 218Wh/km and a 90kWh battery pack.

It can be recharged at up to 11kW AC or 120kW DC speeds on a compatible charger.

All models come with black leather seats, fold-out tray tables, a 12.3-inch touchscreen with wired Apple CarPlay, a 7-inch driver’s display, digital rear view mirror, seven USB charging ports, and 1010-litre boot space when all three-rows are in place which expands to 2179-litres with the rear-row folded down. There's even a frunk under the bonnet.

On the Executive and Luxe trims, there’s power sliding side doors, while the top-spec Luxe gains individual captain’s chairs with heating, cooling, massaging and reclining functions.

An eight-seater configuration is slated to join the line-up early next year.

Unlike the LDV eT60 electric ute, the Mifa 9 also gains a suite of active safety assistance systems such as auto emergency braking, blind spot detection, lane departure warning with lane change assist, adaptive cruise control, and rear collision warning.

The only direct all-electric rival is the mid-sized eVito Tourer people mover currently on sale which starts from $116,117 before on-roads and the pricier forthcoming Mercedes-Benz EQV.
