MGS5 EV $2,000 cashback
MG has put a $2,000 cashback on its mid size electric SUV for October, taking the MGS5 EV Essence 49kWh to $39,990 and the Essence 62kWh to $44,990. The cashback is redeemed at the point of sale as a deduction from the original purchase price, so there is no claim process after delivery.
MG's online configurator quotes the Essence 49kWh from $36,991 drive away for NSW delivery with private registration, which includes 12 months registration, 12 months compulsory third party insurance, maximum dealer delivery charge, and stamp duty. Your final figure will shift with your delivery state and individual circumstances.

Cashback across the MG range
The MGS5 EV sits in the middle of a broader October cashback program. MG is offering $500 on the MG3 HYBRID+ MY26 and ZS 1.5L Turbo Essence, $1,000 on the MG3 Vibe and several ZS variants plus the ZS HYBRID+ and MGU9, $2,000 on the MG4 EV Urban, MGS5 EV, HS, and QS, $3,000 on the IM5, IM6, and HS HYBRID+, and $6,000 on the HS SUPER HYBRID. A separate plate clearance program runs alongside it on older build dates.
Who misses out
Fleet, government, hire car, and rental buyers are excluded. The cashback is not combinable with any other offer, with narrow exceptions for the IM5 and IM6 accessories bonus and the MGU9 trade-in bonus.
MG reserves the right to modify, extend, or withdraw this offer at its sole discretion. Confirm current pricing and terms with your MG dealer before you order.
