What the offer is
BYD Australia is offering $4,000 cashback on all three Shark 6 grades: Dynamic Cab Chassis, Premium and Performance. The offer applies to orders placed between 1 October and 21 December 2026, with delivery by 31 December 2026.
Instead of the cashback, buyers can choose 0.99% p.a. comparison rate finance through BYD Financial Services. The finance offer has a 36-month term, no minimum deposit and no balloon payment.
How much you save
The cashback is $4,000 including GST. Against list prices before on-road costs, it works out as follows.
- Shark 6 Dynamic Cab Chassis: $55,900 list, $51,900 after cashback
- Shark 6 Premium: $57,900 list, $53,900 after cashback
- Shark 6 Performance: $62,900 list, $58,900 after cashback
List prices are based on BYD's launch pricing. In August and September, the Shark 6 Premium was offered at $57,900 drive-away, so depending on your state's on-road costs, the saving on that variant may be similar to the previous deal.
What you get
The Dynamic Cab Chassis and Premium use a turbocharged 1.5-litre engine with dual electric motors for 321kW and 650Nm. All grades share a 29.58kWh Blade battery. The Cab Chassis is sold without a tray.
The Performance steps up to a turbocharged 2.0-litre engine for 350kW and 700Nm, and lifts braked towing capacity to 3,500kg.
BYD covers the ute with a six year or 150,000km vehicle warranty and an eight year or 160,000km traction battery warranty.
The fine print
- Fleet customers, demonstrator vehicles and service loan vehicles are excluded.
- Transactions involving other promotional offers or discounts are excluded, so the cashback cannot be combined with the 0.99% finance offer.
- If an order cannot be delivered by 31 December 2026, BYD Australia will review each case and may approve an extension.
- BYD's terms do not state when the cashback is paid. Confirm timing and the claim process with your dealer.
