What the offer is
BYD Australia is offering $4,000 cashback on the Seal 6 Touring Premium plug-in hybrid wagon. The offer applies to orders placed between 1 October and 21 December 2026, with delivery by 31 December 2026.
Instead of the cashback, buyers can choose 0.99% p.a. comparison rate finance through BYD Financial Services. The finance offer has a 36-month term, no minimum deposit and no balloon payment.
How much you save
The cashback is $4,000 including GST. Against the list price before on-road costs, it works out as follows.
- List price: $39,990 plus on-road costs
- Effective price after cashback: $35,990 plus on-road costs
What you get
The Seal 6 Touring Premium has a 163kW plug-in hybrid system and a 19kWh Blade battery with a claimed 100km WLTP electric range. BYD quotes 0-100km/h in 8.1 seconds.
BYD claims a 670-litre boot, expanding to 1,535 litres with the rear seats folded. Standard equipment includes 18-inch alloys, a hands-free power tailgate, roof rails and a 12.8-inch touchscreen.
BYD covers the car with a six year or 150,000km vehicle warranty and an eight year or 160,000km traction battery warranty.
The fine print
- Fleet customers, demonstrator vehicles and service loan vehicles are excluded.
- Transactions involving other promotional offers or discounts are excluded, so the cashback cannot be combined with the 0.99% finance offer.
- If an order cannot be delivered by 31 December 2026, BYD Australia will review each case and may approve an extension.
- BYD's terms do not state when the cashback is paid. Confirm timing and the claim process with your dealer.
