Mazda Australia has confirmed pricing and opened pre-orders for the 2026 CX-6e, its first mainstream electric SUV in Australia. To celebrate the launch, the first 1,000 customers to pre-order the CX-6e GT will receive a complimentary upgrade to the Azami grade, representing a saving of $3,000. The CX-6e starts from $53,990 before on-road costs and is available to order now at Mazda dealers nationwide.

About the 2026 Mazda CX-6e

The CX-6e is powered by a 78kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery paired with a single rear-wheel-drive motor producing 190kW and 290Nm of torque. WLTP range is rated at 484km, and DC fast charging from 30 to 80 percent takes around 15 minutes at a maximum rate of approximately 195kW. The CX-6e uses a CCS Type-2 charging port.

Standard Features

Both grades come generously equipped. The GT includes a 26.45-inch infotainment touchscreen, a 23-speaker 1,280-watt audio system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, built-in satellite navigation, wireless charging, a 360-degree surround-view camera with see-through bonnet view, panoramic glass roof, heated and ventilated front seats, heated steering wheel, tri-zone climate control, hands-free electric tailgate, and a full suite of active safety features.

The Azami adds 21-inch alloy wheels, digital side mirrors and a digital rear-view mirror over the GT.

Warranty

The CX-6e is backed by Mazda Australia's five-year unlimited-kilometre vehicle warranty and an eight-year high-voltage battery warranty. It will be sold and serviced through approximately 150 Mazda dealerships across Australia.
