2024 vs 2023 Tesla Model 3 facelift comparison: front, side and rear views
The 2024 Tesla Model 3 is slightly larger than the outgoing model: 26mm longer and 84mm wider. Despite the small increase in external dimensions, it is 85kg lighter.
Visual design changes include:
- Slimmer matrix LED headlights
- Simpler front bumper with a reshaped air intake.
- Thinner one-piece C-shape tail-light
Range and Performance
The 2024 Tesla Model 3 RWD has gained an additional 22km of WLTP range compared to the outgoing version. This is most likely attributable to the improved drag coefficient (0.219 vs. 0.225) and reduced weight.
The battery pack and drivetrain system remain unchanged.

Battery size, chemistry and charging speeds remain unchanged compared to the previous model.

There has been no improvement in driver-assist technology between the 2024 Tesla Model 3 and prior generation model.
Infotainment and Connectivity
The 2024 Tesla Model 3 has received a few minor technology upgrades. It now has an 8.0-inch touchscreen behind the centre console to control the rear air vents, view videos and play games.
Other Features
The 2023 Tesla Model 3 RWD now has heated and ventilated front seats. The outgoing model only had heated seats.
